Coolangatta teenage rippers James (16) and Thomas (14) Woods have joined the Joistik team. The boys have been working with Nick since the start of 2007 and have been frothing over the shapes. Working on a variety of designs, the boys are now dialled in and hooked on their new quiver. Thomas surfs incredibly with a mix of high-risk airs, tail blows, and fin wafts. James is great in the bigger stuff mixing powerful carves and huge barrels.

“I’m super stoked and amped to be working with the kids. They’re insane surfers, really talented and the feedback they provide on the grom boards is invaluable. Welcome to the team boys! “ shaper Nick Blair.

Young Indonesian surfer Oney Anwar has also joined the team and has been achieving some great results on his latest board. He recently won the Indonesian Gromsearch final. The win clinches the 2007 ISC Junior Surfing Championship for Oney and solidifies his position as Indonesia’s most promising surfer. These talented groms join Serena Brooke and Shaun Gossmann as our main team riders.
