Something freaky in the spirit of Friday 13th, Fireball Fish pre swallow tail cut and clean up. Inspired of course by #tommypeterson, this was super-fun to shape. It’s been too long since I’ve done one, so thanks to @dennis_jarvis and #ianwright (who incidentally glassed & sanded the first board I ever shaped, back in ’94 in Warner Beach) for the pictorial motivation. The Fireball fish has square, boxy rails and a set of channels carved through the belly, but rather than running throughout the board, the channels abruptly end with a step in front of the fins before the tail goes flat. It is a great board to shape and a day well spent.
