How long will I have to wait for my new board?
Currently our turnaround is 4-6 weeks for a standard PU board, depending on the workload at the factory. Custom board completion times vary depending on our seasonal production volume. EPS (Epoxy and Karboload surfboards) can take longer, usually 6-8 weeks.
Can I change my order?
If you want to make changes to the surfboard you have ordered, please contact us immediately. Depending on what you want changed, and the manufacturing stage your surfboard is up to, it may be possible. Once the board has started production, we cannot change.
Can I have my surfboard delivered?
Yes. The cost depends on where your surfboard/s and products are being shipped within Australia. We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible. For surfboard shipping within Australia we offer flat rate shipping depending on the area you live (local NSW, domestic and WA).
All surfboards shipped within Australia will be shipped using ‘Fastway’ or TNT. All surfboards in stock will be shipped with in 24 hours of receiving your order. Surfboard shipping and delivery usually takes from 3 to 7 working days. All surfboards will be wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed to a high standard of protection.
Joistik Surfboards cannot be held accountable for any packages arriving late or damaged in shipping. We can offer insurance on shipping for more info please contact us before you purchase.
Any special shipping instructions (leave package around the back etc) please fill out at checkout. Once your surfboard has been shipped we will send through an email with all the details.
All small goods will be shipped with in 24 hours of order being received. Small goods will be shipped using Australia Post and you can be supplied with a tracking number by request.
Pick up from Joistik Surfboards at Factory 21, 410 Pittwater Road in North Manly is free.
Can I return my items?
Joistik Surfboards come with a warranty to be free from any manufacturing defects or faults. Joistik Surfboards are not warranted against breakage. This warranty is not transferable.
Joistik Surfboard returns: All surfboards are manufactured specifically for the individual customer. Therefore, all sales are final.
Soft goods returns: Joistik Surfboards will cover the cost of exchanges. Joistik Surfboards will cover the costs to resend the softgoods once it has been returned by the customer. The new product will be sent out when the product has been inspected upon return.
Do you ship worldwide?
Worldwide shipping is available but it can be expensive. We recommend you contact us so we can provide you a quote. To buy Joistik Surfboards in Japan and Brazil please contact our distributors. Often it is cheaper to send surfboards overseas in bulk, so our advice is to get a few orders together and split the cost. Our surfboards are usually shipped worldwide using Global Freight Solutions (depending on the country you live different couriers may be used according to cost). International shipping usually takes around 20 working days.
How can I track my boards progress?
If you would like to know what stage your board is up to in the manufacturing process, please feel free to send us a message through the contact form. We can tell you exactly what stage your board is at and likely completion date.
Does my Joistik Surfboard come with fins?
No, Joistik Surfboards do not come with fins. You have the choice of FCS or Futures fin systems. To purchase a set of fins contact us.
Can I get a spray on my custom?
Contact us if you would like a more complicated spray and we can quote you a price.

Can I choose what is written on the board?
Yes. The customer name, nickname or a short message can be written on the board where the size and dimensions are located. These are handwritten by Nick Blair, along with the board details. You can choose this option by entering details at checkout under ‘notes about your order’.
